LANDSCAPE AS MEDIATOR

Polystyrene and perspex
300 x 300 x 450mm (H)

Due to increasing natural disasters, people are beginning to be aware of the environment and the need to act as communities. This project addresses some of these issues. Situated at the edge of a coastline and forest reserve, these towers explore the possibilities of more sustainable approach by introducing a building structure acting as a platform for the surrounding nature to come together; to intertwine as one. Pockets of green and gardens are inserted at various levels of the building. These landscaped sky gardens act as catalysts for meetings and interactions of what is man made and god made.
