
A symbiotic combination of circular and linear plinths was adopted for the design. The resultant plinth expresses an efficient linear plinth while creating a circular expression through the façade treatment and rounded floor edges. To further reinforce this consolidated expression, each floor is manipulated to extend outwards from the next. This dynamism instillsa unique identity for Block F5, whereby no one angle of view towards the
building is the same.
A delicate infusion of local cultural influences in the form of the Malay “Songket” textile patterns are expressed through the juxtaposition of windows and sun shading device.
